They should also ensure that the child uses insulin when required and consumes a diet which will help their bodys to maintain a balance. They need to learn how to correctly and efficiently administer insulin injections and to control their emotions even when their child is protesting or upset about the process. Childhood diabetes requires a lot of education for both the parent and the patient as they must first learn everything there is to know about taking care of the condition and then passing on this knowledge to their children at an early age.
